Our evening drinks tonight included tasting a new beer…one from Munich. Michael had a dark version of it @ 7.9% and the one I tried was 4.9%. We prefer Cologne beers at this stage.

The town is crazy with soccer fever. Tonight there is a game between Italy and Germany and everywhere is a buzz with the colors of Germany’s flag. I have included of a photo of Michael in front of just one of the outdoor restaurants that have tv screens available for their patrons.

Dinner was a simple affair tonight – fish for both of us just from an outlet so no photos.

A typical German practice relates to paying for beers. You do not pay for a round as you go. The waiter records how many drinks you have on a beer coaster and when you are finished, they check your coaster and you pay in one go.
