After attending high mass at St Nicklaus in Bacharach we caught a KD ferry to Rudesheim. The weather was overcast but perfect. A much easier way to travel than walking. We enjoyed a beer on the boat. Another new one – Konigsbacher Pilsener.

We arrived in Rudesheim around 1pm and found our hotel where we will stay for to nights. We then walked through the streets and found a place for lunch. Michael had bratwurst and I had curry rindswurst and chips. Great value for less than €20 for this plus drinks.

Lots of castles were spotted on our cruise. Some photos attached.
