Meat meets vegetarian in Röthenburg

We ended up eating at the Hotel Zumm’s restaurant (Röthenburger Pfannkuchen Kucher) which is famous for its pancakes (crepes). It was located just across the road from where we were staying.

Vegetarians should not look at this entry as Michael chose the Butcher’s Platter. This platter consisted of Blutwurst (or blood sausage), Leberwurst (or liver sausage), Cervelatwurst (spicy pork and beef sausage) and a piece of pork. These were served with sauerkraut and potatoes. He loved it!

I chose a spinach and blue cheese pancake and a glass of Franconian Riesling.
