We stopped at this small walled town for morning tea and an exploration. We were pretty proud of ourselves for driving there without incident and finding a free parking spot very close to one of the old town’s gates.
The main church is St George which has a relatively small tower when compared with its nave. Michael took a photo of me inside the church which shows the (large) size of the central nave.
The town has many gable houses which all look beautifully restored. Just about everyone had the name of the house painted on the front in old style font.
