As it was our last night in Cochem, Michael decided to try some of the local watering holes near our apartment. I decided to opt out of this activity.

From the photos he took, it looks as though he had a great time. Funny how he seemed to find a blonde German to sit with!

His biggest conclusion from this activity was that smoking is compulsory for most of the hard core drinkers.

Footnote: he only went to three pubs and had a beer (0.2cl) in each one in case you were worried.
