I have not really liked the food in Indonesia as everything is sweet. We have tried food in local cafes, street stalls while being observed by a massive rat, flash restaurants and food plazas.

The best experience was a Japanese style meal of Wagyu beef with broth and vegetables where we cooked the meal on a small gas BBQ with a pan full of broth. Shabu Shabu is supposed to be the sound the beef makes as you swish it through the hot broth to cook it.
