Day Tour of Ottawa

This first photo is of Michael on our balcony. You will note that this is not the greatest of views, but the unit itself is fantastic.

Today we went for a walk to the Museum of Civilisation. On our way we passed a number of important sites in Ottawa including the Parliament buildings and Art Gallery. By crossing the river on our walk, we changed from being in Ontario to Quebec, where French is the only language.

In the last photo, Michael and Edward are posing outside a church with tin features on its roofline.

And here Edward and are posing in front of a war memorial statue.

Unfortunately, the order of the next few photos is out of sync, but I am sure you will get the idea.

The spider statue was in front of the Art Gallery. You need to look hard to find Michael underneath it.

The view from the bridge across the river included the impressive parliament buildings and memorial statues to founders of Ottawa.

There are lots of stalls selling Christmas tress and decorations. They smell and look fantastic.
