Self-guided walking tour of Toronto

We thought the weather looked OK. It was not snowing, but we got a surprise because the wind was bitter.

We walked to Chinatown and then down to St Lawrence Markets. This second stop was an interesting place with beautiful seafood, meats, cheeses and vegetables for sale. Christmas shoppers were out in force. We were just window shopping unfortunately. I saw a turkey Lita would have loved.

Our next stop was a little bar Edward had recommended called C’est What. It had about 30 beers available, many made by the pub. It was a pity we had started so early in the day. A great place.

After making the right choice, we walked up Longue Street and enjoyed all the shops and buildings.

Many of the buildings had interesting Christmas displays in pots near their front doors.

Dinner was the highlight. See next post.
