Last night we went out for a meal at the local pub, Timberbatts. It is only a 200 metres away from where we are staying. It has a beautiful French restaurant called Froggies, run by father and son. It was an amazing find. The food fantastic. We were the only customers for dinner last night, but it is booked out on Friday for a Burns Night – where there will be fine Scottish fare including haggis. We have booked in for that event as well.
