Burns Night at Froggies

While family and friends were celebrating Australia Day at home, Michael and I were celebrating the anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns by eating Scottish fare, cooked by a French chef in a restaurant in a typical English village – Bodsham (pronounced Bod- shum).

The haggis was piped in and there was lots of clapping and anticipation, but I don’t think we got to taste haggis the traditional way as ours was served with a definite French twist. It was delicious. It was served with “tattles, neeps and a shot of whiskey”.

It was a fun night.
