We went for a walk early and saw this tractor cleaning the sand.
We then went to the markets and bought some lovely food for lunch today.
Although this city is fairly young, it still has very narrow one way streets. The buses are very small and electric, and sometimes it is hard for trucks to get through.
This bread shop is right behind where we are staying. Too tempting.
I had asked Michael if we could go up to the Belvédère. The walk part was easy and the view was great, but getting up to the top was so so scary and I was a woos.
This town originally had a casino built here to attract tourists. This is a model of it. It has since been replaced with a more modern one.
We caught the lift down which was easier than all the steps we took to get up.
We were amazed at how huge the tide variance was. We think it is about 3.5m. This next photo shows the high tide mark and Michael down at the water.
These people were looking for whelks …. We think.
