Tickets to the Chopin concert for tonight.
We headed off all excited to the venue, looking forward to the concert and the meal. We decided to have a pre-concert drink in one of the ancient bars.
The concert room did not look set up and we were a bit worried. But we felt sure we would be ok. At about 7.05pm with no sign of the pianist I decided I should warm up.
Unfortunately the lighting was not good enough and actually Michael was nervous about me being in the wrong place.

You need to look closely, but that is me, and I don’t think I was playing Chopin.
We eventually got a full refund for our tickets, apparently we were the only ones who had booked for tonight’s show. How disappointing? So, we found a traditional Polish restaurant and tried the following.
Beef tartare for Michael.
Smoked sheep cheese for me.
Potato dumplings with mushrooms and cream sauce for me.
I did not really like these. They were very gluggy.
Michael chose the goose breast dish. He loved it.
We felt very full on our walk home.
