This has proved very very difficult so far. Although we have been here for ten days, I have been unable to use anything other than email, and for five of those days, not even that.

We were told in Shanghai that the Chinese Government has blocked access to FaceBook and YouTube and because I could not access Safari or many of my apps, I understood this to mean these were blocked too. We are now in Xi’an and as if by magic, I can now access everything other than FaceBook and Youtube.

So here goes.
