As it was Sunday, we had a little lie in this morning and were only just up before the first super-fast, fearless waterskier whizzed past us. Then, each of us tried to finish something off in the fridge for breakfast, knowing we have only four meals to go before we disembark. And we are eating for six!
Derek snapped my healthy choice of fried tomatoes and spinach on (Steve’s) toast.
We were moored by midday in a pretty spot. The wind was howling but we were warm inside the boat. Unfortunately, the exit off the boat to land is the worst so far. And those of us on rope duty have to use it to get us going.
We were again visited by three kookaburras – can you spot three in this photo?
The sunset was beautiful.
As dinner was so wonderful last night, and as there was a heap left over, we had exactly the same meal again tonight.
The only downer to this was the missing cooking smells in the kitchen during the day. And as no one had to take on the cooking duty, we were all able to get stuck into the remaining alcohol on the boat. Earlier in the week we had been a little worried there would not be enough and so rationed ourselves (a little), but that was possibly a mistake, as there was heaps!
