Once down the narrow, winding road from the gorge, I got a great park in front of this restaurant. 

Mick was happy. 

He ordered from the specials of the day on the blackboard and was not disappointed. 

Salmon tartare and the osso bucco (although that is not how it appeared on the blackboard). 

I chose what I thought was a mostly vegetarian dish except for the sardines

C’était très bon. 

We headed home to the animals and Mick lit a bonfire he had been building with the clippings from his gardening efforts. Note the safety fire hose at the ready. 

I wish he could have redirected that heat towards the house for the evening. It is going to be very cold.
