Rabbit Pie

It took Mick three days, longer if you count his effort in collecting duck fat for the pastry, to make this pie. 

We invited the couple who live next door to share it with us. 


We had enjoyed homemade pizza at their place the week before. 

It was a ‘big hit’ – so Mick is thinking of making a smaller one as a welcome home dinner for the owners of this house. That should keep him busy between Christmas and New Year. 

The owner has a fabulous didgeridoo in her lounge room, so Mick took it upon himself to entertain our guests. 

​Bob is yet another Yorkshire man (or someone is pulling our leg by telling us every English man from around here is a Bob from Yorkshire), while Ulrika is German. 


A good time was had by all.
