I had to give it to him – Mick had done his research on places within a short walk of our hotel where we could get a local beer.

We walked to the Augustiner Brau Munchen – which is a huge beer garden selling their local beer and very tempting food (at least for Mick). We decided we would come back another evening for a meal, as we only wanted a snack tonight.

This place was huge, and getting busy. It was Saturday evening after all. Mick was happy.

We headed back closer to our hotel to see if we could find something a little lighter to have for our dinner and where Mick could taste some more local beer/s.

And we certainly did.

We stumbled across this bar where Mick bought one of these for his dinner.

We’d never seen a hot dog served in a glass before.
