What a difference a day makes.

We had gentle rain all night and the temperature has dropped by 15°C. The maximum today was only 16° and it is expected to get as low as 8° in the morning.

We were able to let the horses out for a few hours this afternoon so we could muck out their stables.

They were pleased about that.

Mick and I are off out to dinner tonight, we hope! There is a restaurant in the neighbouring village of Troutsmannahofen called Gasthaus Schraml we think is open tonight. The village is only 2 km away but I will drive us.

I also think there will be no English spoken at this place which will be a good test for me.
