Berlin to Tallinn

We had the morning to kill. So we walked a kilometre to the Natural History Museum.

And yes, we were too early.

We spent two happy hours here. Quite impressive really.

Mick loved the dinosaurs.

The audio guide was very helpful. This is Tristan Otto found in 2010 in America, but they didn’t want him. So here he was – in Berlin.

We made it with plenty of time to Berlin’s Tegel Airport, which was in chaos. Air Berlin, who we flew with from Nuremberg, is in trouble and many pilots were striking. The departure board shows all the cancellations.

We shouted ourselves a bottle of German red wine while we waited for our Air Baltic flight to Tallinn, Estonia – the first we’ve bought. Seemed ironic on our last day here.

It was surprisingly good.

While enjoying it we noticed TV reports of the Air Berlin crisis.

We were lucky to have missed this.

PS – we had hugs and kisses as we left our AirBNB hostess. It was a great location in a very interesting city.

Look out Baltics – here we come !!
