Boy have we had a fun day.
We started our day with a beautiful buffet breakfast. Everything you could imagine.
On our first outing, we met this elderly man as we waited to cross the road. Our technique was to wait for the locals to cross and go with them. He told us which tailor to visit and where to get the best duck meal. He was about 75 years old, told us he was an ex teacher and showed Mick his 14 year old shirt he had had made at this particular tailor, next door to where he lives. He was so nice that we trusted him. Mick ended up having three shirts made. He needed one. 😎

r one hour which cost 400 baht (~$16AUD), while I went shopping and bought myself a new wallet and travel bag which cost way more than the massage.
You must have cash here to eat the local food. And we did. It is very clean and the people are not pushy.
The trap with the cash … and it is the only place so far…is that it costs 220 baht (~$9.25AUD) regardless of how much you withdraw. So you’re better off getting heaps out in one go.
Next time!!!
The markets are great. Something that caught my eye, no pun intended, were these coloured contact lenses.

Check out the buses…

asty biscuits for $3AUD. One of them was nori spread with miso and sesame seeds and then baked.
The only negative about Bangkok is the overuse of plastic bags. Most things are double bagged in supermarkets and everything else is plastic. Multiply the number of people here and the visitors and that’s too much waste.
