We spent most of the day wandering around Cambridge, re-familiarising ourselves with this beautiful city.

We also caught up on lots of our son’s latest news and plans.

We will get to see him from time to time during our two-week house sitting assignment just outside of Cambridge.

We caught a taxi to our ‘new home’, knowing we could have caught a local bus, but not easily with our luggage. We will make good use of the buses during our time here though.

We had a quick tour and a trial run of walking the dogs before being handed the keys and being left in charge.
