Some days, when you’re on holidays, you just need a quiet day. That was today for us.

After leaving Cowaramup we drove towards the coastal town of Gnaramup, Surfers Point in particular.

I’d read there was a cafe on this point that was well worth a visit. While the cafe and beach were quite away from built up areas, the car park and cafe were packed. The weather was perfect.

A short drive on from here is the township of Margaret River. We are staying here for the next five days. Before checking into our accommodation, we found a laundromat and did some much needed washing – now we should be right for awhile.

Tomorrow we are going on a full day tour of several local wineries. It will be nice not to have to do the driving.

Dinner tonight will be a BBQ and Mick will be in charge of that. Our biggest decision tonight will be which bottle of wine will we open.

It can be tough some days.!!
