Much nice day today so we walked through and behind Bodsham to a very small ? hamlet called Elmstead. There was a large old church there and a cemetery that was obviously still being used. The scenery was beautiful.

Michael is trying to train Robbie and Leo to come to him when called, and is doing well. The dogs seem to be training him nicely. Lettie is allowed more freedom than the two males and is very easy to manage.

Everywhere we go, Michael refers to the local ordinance maps so he knows exactly where we are. There are so many public paths out here, but at the moment it is very wet underfoot that it makes it unpleasant. We are confident ( i.e. hopeful) we will get to see a lot of the paths over the next eight weeks.
