Family Reunion in Seville

Well we made it!

It took a train through Portugal and a bus from Faro, on the Algarve, to Seville to meet up with Edward, our youngest, who’d travelled from London with all his worldly possessions to have the weekend with us before he starts a 10-week sebatical in Cambridge as a “Visiting Fellow”. We had not seen him for over a year.

It was so hot, 40+°C, that we had to find a cool bar and some cold beers. Which we did easily as we are spoilt for choice near our little apartment. We found a great place for a meal around 10 pm and after that had a final drink at a jazz bar across the street before calling it quits for the first night.

It must have been a good night because I somehow ?? deleted all the day’s photos. #*^}#~!

This is a photo, borrowed from the AIRBNB site, of the area we are staying in for the next 5 days – Alameda.

  1. Oh Jane, just when you seem to be doing so well with alcohol and medication, you delete the pics! But I am enjoying your trip! Gerard
