After farewelling Edward for his trip to London, we headed out to complete an important job.
One sign we saw while travelling around the city yesterday said 46°C. It certainly was very very hot.

Now this photo does not give you any idea of the heat. We walked through part of this huge garden / park and it was so much cooler under the shade of the trees and being near the fountains. This photos was taken of Mick in the biggest park in the city, the Parque de Marie Luisa. We were on our way to buy a bus ticket for our trip to Ronda on Thursday. This was the only ticket I was unable to buy before we left Australia.

We spent some time exploring the Plaza de España. We were amazed by the tiles.

Some movies have been filmed here, including Star Wars I and II (Sam, I am sure you would know that it was part of the city of Theed). This plaza was built for a major expo in 1929 and is now used mostly for government offices and the city’s Town Hall.

After quite a wait for our ‘green bus’ we headed home past the Palacio de San Temlo which is the residence of the President of Andalucia. I learnt there are four regions in Spain, each with its own President.

I am very glad I don’t have to clean that place! My home is big enough to keep me occupied.
We had a much quieter evening so we could recharge our batteries after a very busy few days with Edward.
